The iStatE is a full-featured intelligent programmable TCP/Modbus thermostat / controller, wall-mount, ready for ControlCore programming, with RS485 network port AND TCP/IP to allow remote programming and monitoring. The iStatE is ideal for all industrial or residential applications requiring smart controllers. It is a drop in replacement for the iStat6 controller, adding to its great features an oversized color TFT screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, TCP/IP connection, an embedded humidity sensor, MQTT support and many more.

The iStatE can act as a Network Controller and offer the following features:
- Supervisory control, the Network Controller can run a ControlCore algorithm referencing any of the connected RS485 devices parameters, including generic Modbus devices
- Secure call-out internet connections via iSquared Cloud servers, eliminates need for static IPs or open network ports
- Custom WEB sites. Create remote WEB sites for user access to data points and recorded history
- History data storage to iSquared Cloud servers. Expands history storage capacity from hours to years
- Supports peer-to-peer device intercommunication; on-site devices can access remote data from other devices or from the master itself
- TCP/ Modbus, all connected device's points can be accessed through the iStatE TCP/IP connection, eliminates bottlenecks normally associated with Modbus gateway access to slow RS485 networks
- Algorithmic access to weather information. Allows weather conditions information to be included in ControlCore programming logic
